MCS announces the registration date for Pre-K and Kindergarten 2024/2025 school year. April 9, 2024 at your zoned MCS school, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Due to student safety concerns with the upcoming solar eclipse, Monday, April 8 will be a remote learning day for all students. Specific instructions, assignments, and details will be provided by your student's teacher. All teachers and staff will report for a normal work day. Thursday May 23rd, Free Sports Physicals for all high school and middle school athletes in McMinn and Meigs Counties. Athletes are asked to arrive at the time scheduled for their respective schools.
Summer Learning Loss Bridge Camp will be June 3rd to June 24th. Invitations are currently being sent home with students.
McMinn County High School would like to invite the community to meet our newest coaches on Sunday, March 24th at 2:00 in the MCHS auditorium. Come out and help us celebrate the future of McMinn County High School athletics.

National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) celebrates the importance of a nutritious school breakfast in fueling students for success. This is a special observance during the first week of March celebrates the national School Breakfast Program and the many ways it gives kids a great start every day.
